Custom Swinger Bag

Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Swinger Bag is a very special Coach custom design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.

Reimagined with convenient turnlock cargo pockets detailed with gleaming rivets for a hint of shine and a utilitarian touch by Eunice Chang, this streamlined style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Alfred Deaza and Jose Reyna incorporated riveted leather pockets to the front, covered part of the turnlock with a leather patch, replaced the zipper pull, repaired tack on short strap, massaged the leather, refreshed the gusset binding, then added a long strap and a playful repurposed charm. The Swinger Bag is part of The Coach Originals, a collection of archival-inspired bags that celebrates our legacy and authentic New York heritage. This glovetanned leather style is based on a 1987 Coach design reimagined for today. Featuring our iconic turnlock closure, the zip-top short-strap shoulder bag sits just beneath the underarm for hands-free convenience and includes a detachable strap to wear crossbody.
