Coach started as a family-run workshop in New York City in 1941. Its six artisans set out with a simple goal: to make beautiful, functional items in modern shapes from the finest leathers. As a pioneer in the leather goods and accessories space, the brand went on to establish itself as the Original American House of Leather. Coach remains inspired by its rich heritage, with the spirit of innovation it has had for more than 75 years. Today, Coach is part of Tapestry, Inc., a global house of brands powered by optimism, innovation and inclusivity. Our 21,000 employees around the globe are our greatest asset. Benefits

Let’s face it, health insurance and benefits are important. Our employees are our most valuable assets and we’re committed to providing them with progressive benefits that are relevant to today’s needs. Over 20 years ago, Coach instituted equivalent spouse and same-sex partner benefits for medical, dental, vision and dependent coverage. We also provide equal benefits for bereavement leave, employer-provided supplemental life insurance for a partner and adoption assistance.

In recent years, our health care coverage has expanded to include coverage for transgender individuals, without exclusion, for medically necessary care. We also extend benefits for services related to gender transition.

Coach was recently honored with two awards in China: Top 100 Employer of Excellence in China and Excellence in HR Management Team. Selected from over 380,000 companies, the awards recognize our efforts in talent acquisition, retention and development, as well as our commitment to drive innovative HR initiatives and provide our employees an engaging working environment.
