Restored Metropolitan Slim Brief

The Coach Metropolitan Slim Brief is an excellent storage companion for the working busy individual. The brown leather material is sturdy and has a nice color. While it is thin and stylish, there really is a lot if room for storing a laptop, books, paperwork and a wallet. There is also a nice shoulder strap that is detachable instead of just using the handles. It is a great quality product that is good for everyday use.

I have to say, I genuinely am loving this bag! Its sturdy and secure for my laptop and has multiple inside compartments for all- this bag has completely replaced my what was two bags to office pre-pandemic life. It's stylish and dresses up any outfit (I actually can dress down a bit but still look elevated with this bag) and makes a great impression for meetings and travel. I also love that the outside zippers lock (branded min-lock included). I'd definitely recommend this bag- its not gender specific and would look great on anyone. Super happy with this design!

The quality and the design of this briefcase are outstanding. The bag has a vintage silhouette and every detail is thoughtfully made. Despite its slim look, the bag offers many inner pockets and compartments within. The best part of this bag is a tiny lock (very elegant), which allows you to lock the zipper for extra security!!!Metropolitan brief is one of my favorite bags from COACH. #CoachEmployee

I am extremely abusive to my bags. They get tossed around, knocked into everything, exposed to the elements, and frankly just mistreated. I have had several different bags and this one has been one of, if not the best bag I've had. It is a reasonable size and was able to hold my 16" MacBook Pro in the center. I would have prefered it to be in one of the inside pockets but that wasn't a showstopper. I am able to fit an iPad or 12" MacBook in the side pockets and my necessities like notebook and documents. I was very surprised that the outside of the bag took as much abuse as it went through. I have had bags that would be discolored or scratched just from carrying them in the open and this bag has been knocked into a few walls, doors, bookcases, etc and took nearly no damage. A little leather conditioner and the bag was back to nearly new. I would definitely recommend this brief.

Bag is exceptionally nice, the leather is a beautiful brown, that has gotten better with use, worth every penny!!!

I have long associated Coach with purses and bags for ladies but did not know they also made bags for men. As a manly man, I usually wouldn't want to be seen sporting a super fashionable, luxury bag with obnoxious or trendy branding. Luckily, this bag whispers Coach and does not shout it. It comes in the perfect medium brown tone with gold color accents and as soon as you touch it you can tell it is a high quality product. It feels very sturdy and exudes elegance and class. It is lightweight and comes with a removable strap that can be worn over the shoulder or crossbody (which I prefer). The bag is thoughtfully designed and very functional. It has two exterior magnetic snap pockets for easy access items and a zipper enclosure for the main compartment. Inside the main compartment is a velvety soft lining, a smaller zipper pocket, a few small pockets for pens and such, and a snap-button pocket that easily fits my 14" laptop. Also included is a small lock and key to lock the zippers together (which I don't think would do much good because if someone wanted something inside of it they would likely take the whole bag and not be deterred by the small lock). I also like that it has small metal stubs on the bottom to keep the leather protected from touching the ground. All of my coworkers are women and I received many compliments on the brief. As good as the bag is, I do wish it was slightly wider so that I could more easily fit my water bottle inside of it. Nonetheless that is a minor complaint and I still use the bag on the regular. As a healthcare professional, I like to look like a professional and this bag worn over my shoulder helps me to achieve that. I previously used a much cheaper cloth/canvas messenger bag and this is certainly an upgrade in the style category. While I am by nature a deal hunter and not one to often splurge on luxury items for myself, I can appreciate this Coach Metropolitan Slim Brief as being a quality product and would highly recommend it to others who wish to own a luxury brief.
