Tight squeeze
The bag is great. It could use some more width on the bottom though. Gets to be a snug fit with large items

Hate to love this bag.... but it's probably my last Coach
I've been eagerly waiting for over a year to write a review for this messenger bag. My reason? This marks my fourth Coach Messenger bag purchase in the past 15 years. The first bag served me well for years 1-8, the second from years 8-12, and the third from years 12-14. Do you see the pattern here? This bag, in its 15th year and 3rd month, is unlikely to last another 3 months.
I initially liked the color, and that sentiment still holds true today. However, my feelings toward the crossbody strap have changed. At first, I wasn't a fan, but now I absolutely HATE it. The strap is far too thin and ends up cutting into my neck and shoulders. My previous bags all had wider, thicker straps that evenly distributed the weight, avoiding any discomfort.
The weakest link of this bag is where the strap attaches. It's barely hanging on, and I fully anticipate it failing any day now. I'm undecided on whether my replacement will be another Coach bag, or if my loyalty to this brand has diminished enough for me to explore alternatives.
When asked about having the bag repaired, my response is simple. In the past, Coach bags came with a lifetime warranty and didn't need frequent repairs due to their exceptional quality. Nowadays, Coach bags come with a higher price tag, yet the materials used are of lower quality, and the craftsmanship doesn't match what it used to be. Furthermore, the bag's warranty has been reduced to just one year. What does this shift tell us about the brand's confidence in its own products?
