Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this 1964 Fringe Bag is a very special Coach upcrafted design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.
Reimagined with a gleaming touch by Savannah Sutton featuring our golden Tea Rose turnlock, this flap-front style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Jose Reyna and Yngrid Pichardo Baez replaced the turnlock closure with a golden floral one, spot-painted the back, then added a pop green short shoulder strap and a bold cluster of whimsical charms. Our Fringe Bag—first introduced in 1964, is defined by our turnlock closure and statement-making fringe trim. The buttery soft glovetanned leather style features a spacious open compartment and outside slip pocket. Perfectly sized to meet festival and concert venue regulations, it’s finished with two detachable straps to carry by hand, style as a short shoulder bag or wear crossbody.
